This annual camp provides a medically-supervised 5-day experience for kids and teens with heart problems (congenital heart disease). She also volunteers for her local Girl Scout neighborhood.

Jamie Ostdiek grew up in Nebraska where she completed her undergraduate degree and training as a Physician Assistant in 1992. She then moved to Phoenix for her first job in family medicine. From 1994 to 1997, she worked at St. Louis University in the Department of Preventive Cardiology where she implemented clinical trials for new medications to treat high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She returned to primary care medicine while living in Las Vegas, Nevada for a few years and then happily returned to Phoenix in 2000.
After return to Arizona, Jamie worked part-time, educating PA students at two local AZ Physician Assistant programs for several years while raising a family. She has in depth knowledge of dyslipidemias and hypertension and has published an article about managing cholesterol in adults with heart disease. Jamie has always loved the field of Cardiology and is honored to join Dr. Stock and Sharon in taking care of kids who need a heart specialist.
