Being Board Certified in your specialty requires specific training and testing to pass certification. In addition, to remain Board Certified, the physician needs to complete continuing education, understand quality improvement (CQI) measures, and maintain proficiency in their subspecialty by passing comprehensive examinations. In cardiology, FACC means that you have qualified for Board Certification by the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Stock is the only independent (not hospital based) Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologist in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Make sure all of your specialists are Board Certified or eligible.
If you have had previous cardiology care at another office:
- Please request a copy of your most recent visit
- A copy of the last 2 echocardiogram reports
- A copy of the most recent ECG
- Any recent discharge summary from a hospitalization or an operative report from a surgery. Our staff is happy to assist in obtaining the necessary reports.
Please bring an updated insurance card.
If you have a question about how to obtain records or what you should obtain, please feel free to contact our office.
Dr. Stock has had a long relationship with all of the hospitals providing inpatient Pediatric Cardiology care. Dr. Stock will work with you to choose the best hospital for your children’s care. He will work directly with the hospital based Pediatric Cardiologists to ensure all necessary information is communicated.
In many cases, Dr. Stock will be able to remotely review daily tests and progress notes.
